Pickled Onions & Jalapeños
This pickling recipe is so simple and can really help diversify your kitchen! Pickling onions and jalapeños are my favorite. I add them to most dishes I prepare in my kitchen!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 red onion or 6-7 jalapeños
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 6-7 peppercorns (only for the onions)

- 2 glass jars

- Slice onion and jalapeños, add to your jars separately, along with garlic cloves.
- In a pot, combine all the ingredients and let it come to a simmer. This should take 5-6 minutes. Turn off heat, let it cool for 10 minutes then pour into your jars.
- Let it rest on the counter for 45 mins to an hour & enjoy!
- Store in fridge. The longer they sit, the more pickled/better they taste!
